I completed a Master of Arts in Community Counseling (2003) and Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision (2008). I also completed my BSN degree (1992) and am dually licensed in the state of Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Registered Nurse. I have been teaching in Counselor Education programs since 2008 and am a full-time Professor in a Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. I have been a counselor in private practice since 2010. I am trained in EMDR.

I am a State of FL Qualified Supervisor and Approved Clinical Supervisor (CCE) for Mental Health Counseling and Marriage & Family interns and a member of ACA and AMHCA. I have been practicing for 19 years and in private practice since 2010. I am EMDR trained and completed training in 2012 for Family Mediation. I have several areas of specialty and focus on a small number of clients to ensure my availability for them.
