As a licensed clinical psychologist, who specializes in anxiety and depression, people come to me because they are ready to get rid of the worry, stress, & anxiety in their lives. My clients tell me that they are ready to claim their joy & peace of mind, without sacrificing their relationships with their loved ones. They want to get to the bottom of the cause of their anxiety & depression and achieve deep & lasting change.

Being born overseas & having been trained as a psychologist in San Francisco, I know that I bring both Eastern & Western values; not to mention, with my unique experiences of being an immigrant, I do not look at mental health through the lens of psychopathology. I see a person in a holistic & integrative way, knowing that the person is a whole being with many parts working in concert with one another.

I am a former adjunct Psychology Professor & have been in the mental health field since 2003 working in a variety of settings. I've always been fascinated on how the brain works, particularly on how human beings make sense of their experiences. Though I have expertise in treating psychological disorders, I also understand that my clients possess strengths, skills, & life experiences that are vital to their well-being. My role is to guide & support clients reframe their thoughts & experiences so they can have a better relationship with themselves and live a more fulfilling life.

I have been in the mental health field in a variety of settings and roles since 2003. I am a member of the Florida Psychological Association, American Psychological Association, and Asian American Psychological Association.
