Introduction:

Hi! I'm a Licensed Psychologist and I help people feel less anxious and more confident in their relationships. My style is warm, curious, & laid back. I listen deeply and carefully in order to understand your unique identity and experiences. Together, we can look at the hard stuff and find a way forward. Group Description:

The Interpersonal Process Group is a 16-week group that meets weekly online. Weekly group attendance is expected.

Group may be a good fit if you:
• Have trouble asking for what you want and need
• Want to feel closer to you friends/partner
• Want to understand why your relationships keep ending
• Want to feel less socially anxious
• Have difficulty being vulnerable
• Have difficulty being your “true self” around others-or maybe don’t know what that is

How does group work?
Over the course of 16 weeks, group members will be invited to:
1. notice what they are feeling about themselves and others in the moment and to and to share this with the group
2. share important aspects of their lives, over time, to the group.
Most people are not used to speaking so directly and honestly to each other so it can be both exhilarating and scary. Everyone gets to go at their own pace and share when they are ready.

Why Group Works
The reason that this kind of group works is because over time, group members start to relate to each other in the same way that they relate to people in their lives. The good, bad, and the ugly. Group members are encouraged to give each other feedback about their interpersonal “blind spots” in a helpful way. From there, group members get the opportunity to practice new ways of relating.

Benefits of Group
Safety, acceptance, and compassionate feedback are at the heart of group therapy. You will get the chance to learn about yourself and practice new ways of relating. As a result of this unique experience, you will feel more confident as you pursue new friendships and romantic relationships in your life.
