My counseling approach is shaped by humanistic counseling principles which value the clients abilities to control their own destinies. I also embrace feminist counseling principles which explore the impact of systemic issues on our mental health. Finally, I strive to be a culturally humble clinician and know that there is not a one size fit all approach to counseling. Guided by these principles, I would like to support you on your wellness journey.

My career experiences have prepared me to work with children, adolescences, and young adults. I completed my practicum and internship at a college counseling center and at an outpatient opioid treatment center. I then went on to work as a school based mental health counselor and as counselor with justice involved youth. These experiences and my doctoral studies have prepared me to serve clients in my private practice.
